Annual POSH Football Fixture

On 12th May 2026, the annual POSH football fixture took place at Weston Homes Stadium, where colleagues from Ford Division , JCB and Head Office / Group played in a closely fought match that showcased an excellent game of football from both sides.
The game itself was a thrilling, end-to-end contest, played at a high tempo throughout (Which surprised a few!) Both teams demonstrated resilience and disciplined defending, ensuring the contest remained tight right to the final whistle. It’s fair to say a few spurned chances kept it a close game.
In the end, the home side, captained by David “The Rock” Howe, edged out a narrow 4–3 victory in what proved to be a fittingly competitive and entertaining fixture. His usual leadership played a key role and evenly matched teams , with subs rolling on & off keeping the game flowing on the night.
Following the match, players and staff came together to share food and reflect on the evening , the event also raised funds for charity, with contributions collected from those involved helping to support a good cause in 2026 – which is ‘Prostrate Cancer UK’.
The night concluded with the presentation of the prestigious Man of the Match award, recognising an outstanding individual performance in a competitive game – this year’s winner was Dougie Clegg (TCH JCB).
Overall, the annual fixture was enjoyed and supported by lots of the TCH Family and the usual ‘Teamwork’ made it a great success and enjoyable evening.
