Back in May our Salesman, Reece Heldreich, appeared on our Local Radio and TV for having a certain tattoo on his leg. (Try it on Spotify)
The tattoo is a QR code linking to a Sam Fender song “Hypersonic Missiles” in memory of his best friend who sadly took his own life in a battle with his mental health.
Whilst on holiday in Benidorm he was spotted by a group of Geordie lads looking at his tattoo and asked him what it was about. Reece relayed his story and the tragic loss of his friend. They scanned his tattoo to see if it worked, to which it did! One of the lads tweeted Sam Fender telling him about the tattoo to which Sam retweeted the post which then to all of his followers and viral on Tik Tok and that’s how the BBC picked up on the story.
In August Reece and his friends will be attempting the 3 peak challenge to raise monies in memory of Jack Gallagher so if anybody would like to donate it would be very much appreciated.
