Social Media & Content Creation Executive
Location: Sheffield, England (with occasional travel to other TC Harrison Group sites)
The Role:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Social Media & Content Creation Executive to join our marketing team. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the social media strategy and creating engaging content across various platforms for our designated businesses. This role requires a strong understanding of social media trends, excellent content creation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a busy team. You will play a key role in enhancing our brand visibility, driving website traffic, and ultimately supporting our sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute engaging social media strategies and content calendars aligned with the overall marketing objectives for each of the four businesses.
- Create high-quality and compelling content, including but not limited to:
- Captivating social media posts (text, images, videos, stories, reels, etc.)
- Short-form video content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Blog posts and articles for website content.
- Email marketing content.
- Infographics and other visual assets.
- Manage and maintain the social media presence across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok), ensuring brand consistency and a professional tone of voice.
- Schedule and publish content effectively, utilising scheduling tools and optimising for engagement.
- Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, customer queries, and industry trends, responding appropriately and escalating where necessary.
- Engage with our online community, fostering positive relationships and building brand loyalty.
- Track, analyse, and report on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with the wider marketing team on integrated campaigns and initiatives.
- Assist with the creation and management of website content updates as required.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and legal regulations.
- Potentially manage relationships with external content creators or agencies as needed.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a social media and content creation role, preferably within a fast-paced environment. Experience within the automotive industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
- A strong understanding of various social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrable ability to create engaging and effective content across different formats.
- Proficiency in using social media management and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills (experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite – particularly Premiere Pro or similar – would be a plus).
- Experience with website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A genuine passion for social media and digital marketing.
- Full UK driving licence.
