On July 19th I celebrated my 25th Wedding Anniversary with a trip to Funchal in Madeira with my husband Heath. We spent 4 nights there and during our stay we packed our days with fun things to do. On our Anniversary we took a cable car ride to Monte where they do the famous Taboggan Ride which was extremely amusing and is considered one of the top 10 strangest commutes in the world and has been going since Victorian times. On another day we decided to take the ferry to Porto Santo, once home to Christopher Columbus and it’s 9km Sandy beach. I would highly recommend Madeira it’s vibrant and full of spectacular views and the people are great.
