Working at TCH we get to see some really exciting products, whether it’s a Mustang GT or a Ranger Raptor, there’s always something interesting around us. But what is the most important vehicle we sell? Some would argue that the Transit, which is known as the ‘back bone of business’ is our most important vehicle, and we have some exciting news.
Ford have just launched the all-electric eTransit which, to use their words, will ‘disrupt the market’. This really will be a game-changer for many businesses and van drivers who up to now have needed to compromise on range, performance or practicality if they searched for a fully electric useable van.
We have a prestigious launch event planned for Summer 2022 at both of our Derby and Peterborough Transit Centres, where staff and customers will be able to see and discover the new van, and learn how the eTransit and other electric vehicles will become part of our every day lives at the dealership. Those of you who recall the Mustang Mach-e launch in Feb 2020 will be familiar with the format of these events. At this event, customers and staff can experience the eTransit first hand with demonstration vehicles, and representatives from Ford in attendance to demonstrate the product and answer any questions on charging, living with the van and how Ford have developed this van to beat all competitors.
TC Harrison are ready to embrace these exciting electrified vehicles. We have already invested significantly in charging points for demonstration vehicles, and with solar panels at a number of our dealerships we are making positive steps towards a greener future.
The new eTransit can be ordered now, with the first deliveries expected to arrive in the Autumn, so the future really will be here sooner than we think!
