TCH will be continuing our support of Burton Albion Football Club in their 2022 / 23 league one campaign. Our Burton-on-Trent dealership has been a regular sponsor of the club since 2014 with prominent advertising boards that attract TV attention. But some the of main reasons for our partnership with Burton Albion FC are best described by the club Chairman Ben Robinson, who said: “Burton Albion is a family-friendly, community-minded football club and businesses join us because they share our values and want to help us make a difference.
Burton Albion FC is well known for success on the pitch, spending two years in the Championship and reaching the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup, taking the name of the Brewers and the club’s sponsors and partners to a global audience.
Meanwhile, in the local community, the club and its charity arm, Burton Albion Community Trust makes a massive difference on a daily basis. BACT is committed to making a positive impact in the community it serves, whether that’s through education, physical and mental wellbeing, or employability. BACT has also been a key player in the local response to the pandemic.
Burton Albion worked alongside the NHS with the Pirelli Stadium acting as a vaccination centre and the club donating the facilities. Since December 2020 more than 300,000 doses have been delivered, BACT has notched up more than 1,000 volunteer hours, delivered 4,147 care and activity packs, 752 emergency food parcels and even undertaken 23 weekly dog walks. Burton Albion also received the EFL Community Project of the Year Award in 2022 for the Vaccination Centre.
With Derby and Peterborough being relegated to league one last season the TCH Ford Division will have an increased interest in the league one campaign this season. We wish all three clubs the very best for the 2022/23 season and hope that all three can meet again in the Championship in the 2023/24 season.
